The
thermal performance of this heatsink was analyzed for efficiency based
on the location and magnitude of the heat dissipating electronic components.
As the above thermal gradient displays, a substantial volume of fin
could be removed without adversely effecting the thermal performance.
This allowed the reduction of weight and space, two extremely valuable
parameters in todayıs product development arena.
